God wants all of His children to be trained, to grow, to mature, and know Him in a progressively deeper way. No one is exempt and no one has learned all there is to know. So in a sense, Harvest Bible Training Center’s program is right for everyone. But the real question is, what are you doing to deepen your relationship with Christ and your effectiveness in ministry?
We are all called to the ministry, to advance God’s kingdom. That does not necessarily make all of us vocational ministers, but it does make all of us responsible to bear fruit. And Christ Himself said that He wants us to bear much fruit. As we go through life it is easy to accept wherever we are in our walk with God as an “ok” status quo and not go further. But we need to stir ourselves up, find leaders and vision that challenges us to stretch, to grow, and to become more Christ like.
It takes peers, leaders, active outreach, and dedication to get hungry for more than those things which are behind us and to press forward to the high calling of Jesus Christ.
This ministry training program is geared to do just that, to take men, women, and even ministers and stir up the gift of God that is in each one. To challenge them to grow, to be progressively molded and formed into the image of Christ. Weekly sermons alone are not enough to do this, it takes peers, leaders, active outreach, and dedication to get hungry for more than those things which are behind us and to press forward to the high calling of Jesus Christ.
