The scriptures direct us to earnestly pursue wisdom, understanding, and knowledge. In the modern Church there are many ways to obtain instruction, be it online, college, or at Churches, just to name a few. Harvest Bible Training Center was not started to replace any of these avenues of learning. Instead, HBTC was developed to provide face-to-face practical instruction to every member of the Church for minimal cost.
Every sincere form of Christian education has a place and value. But many members of the body of Christ cannot afford the time or cost to attend a Bible college, seminary, or remote training program. And many online programs lack the elements of mentorship, hands on outreach, and discipleship which are critical for growth and development. Harvest’s vision is to provide these things along with foundational doctrine and instruction.
To use the gifts that He has given to this body of believers in order to help accomplish the will of God for this area and beyond.
The Head of the Church, the Lord Jesus Christ, placed gifts, talents, and graces within the Church for the purpose of instruction, leadership, and edification.
